Hey everyone!
How are you all?
It feels like ages since I last wrote an update- I’m sure August was like the longest month ever.
As July was pretty awesome, August had a lot to live up to and I think it’s safe to say it’s been rather good as well.
Although I got a job in July I then got offered another job and am now working at Amara Living as a marketing assistant- check me out!
They always say time flies when you’re having fun and with the big warehouse move, these past three weeks have just whizzed by- i’m now on my fourth week at the company already.
It hasn’t been all work and no play however…
The past few weekends have been so busy I’ve felt like I needed another weekend just to recover!
I’ve now become a bit obsessed with Friday nights at Slug and Lettuce but with 241 cocktails after a long hard week of work you can hardly blame me.
Friday nights all about the old skool lately with Missoula doing their very own Kisstory nights and slug playing the same sort of music my Friday nights have never been so wild!
With the bank holiday this month I’ve also ventured out a bit and have now been out in Southend a few times which is a first.
There have been a few other highlights of August as well…
I FINALLY saw Monsters University! After moaning about not seeing it for months mummy barber took me to see it after my last day working with my uncle.
I went to a casino for the first time AND a football match! They were both an epic fail as we lost £50 in 15 minutes and lost the football 1 nil to Stoke, WHO THE HELL ARE STOKE?!
One last other exciting thing that has happened this month- GEORGIA IS BACK! YAYYYYYYY!
After the poor girl fell ill, she had enough of the reef and came back home to me
Me and Andy went to pick her up from the airport and then sat in the pub for four hours catching up.
It’s nice to have my partner in crime back and now we’re on a mission to find her a kick ass job!
I think that’s enough about August now, I could talk about it all night.
Who would have thought it was September already, there is only four more months of the year left!
Like August, September is looking very busy and exciting.
GUESS WHAT!
It’s that time of year again- IT’S LONDON FASHION WEEK WOOHOOOOOO!
So excited for LFW this season as it was so good in February and I’m introducing G to the amazement that is London Fashion Weekend.
As it is London Fashion Week from the 13th, I have a fun little blogging challenge up my sleeve to celebrate which I’m looking forward to so keep an eye out for that.
From one side of my personality to another we also have something else very exciting happening this month…
GRAND THEFT AUTO FIVEEEEEEEE!
Yes, we’ve been waiting five years since GTA IV came out.
Sod Call of Duty Ghosts, this will be the game of the year and Digital Spy even said it could be the fastest selling game in UK history!
Quite fancy going to a midnight opening of this one, anyone want to come with?
There are lots of birthdays in September so there will be more partying and Friday nights at slug I’m sure.
One last thing I’m looking forward to this month is Kristian’s football match on Sunday.
It’s been so nice to see everyone the last few weeks and I am always up for cheering on the team of 2010 all for a Cystic Fibrosis.
Hopefully we can make you proud bub and collect lots of donations!
And talking of raising money for Cystic Fibrosis I have some exciting news that will be revealed in the next week or so- everyone is going all out for you!
Here’s a little clue…
I think I’ll leave it here now or this could soon become the longest post of my life…
So much to talk about in so little time.
Good luck to those starting uni/college this month don’t want to scare you or anything but it’ll be all over before you know it so make the most of it and go wild!
Have a great month everyone and keep an eye out for those special LFW posts
