Watch out guys, this weeks Saturday suggestion is about to go urban.
This week I’ve been catching up with Macauley Carruthers who I met a few years ago when working with Interlude Dance UK.
After his parents set up a youth club in 2004, Macauley fell in love with dance at the age of nine.
He now tours the world with Europe’s leading urban entertainment brand SBX Live as ‘Kaos’ and teaches dance group ’Touch of Life’ five days a week.
At just 18 years old Macauley has performed all over the globe including on a show China that was broadcast to over 50 million people.
As well as shows he’s been in music videos, TV programmes and adverts too!
One of his favourite experiences he named was dancing as Santa on ITV1′s Text Santa show.
Over the next few months he will be featured in SBX’s new TV series and continue to promote street dance to the nation.
He said: “I have created a Facebook page to try and promote what I do and also to inspire kids who have the same joy for dancing”
